Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to state: (a) whether the Ministry has taken notice of a fact that even though Pakistan has long ratified international ILO conventions, the worst forms of child labour still persist in the country; (b) if so, the responsibility of the relevant institutions, the Federal and Provincial Governments in this regard and how are they fulfilling these responsibilities and this shows legislative gaps, weak policies and lack of implementation; and (c) what corrective measures are being taken by the government to address this gap, weak policies and implementation of policies to curb child labour in the country?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that roads, footpaths and other pathways in the capital are being dug out on regular basis either by the public or private sector entities in the name of installing/laying various cables and pipes etc., which destroys the entire infrastructure and later its poor repair leads to more damage to it as well as mental torture to the people at large; (b) if so, why are the managers of capital city unable to come up with a well-thought-out plan/design in line with international standards to do such things; and (c) what remedial measures are being taken to design thoughtfully as per international standards to accommodate any such installations/modifications in the capital in future?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that traffic jams have become normal on the roads of Islamabad; (b) if so, has any review been carried out in recent times not only to identify high traffic congestion areas but also to take remedial measures to ensure smooth flow of traffic in Islamabad; (c) if so, what are the details and which areas are most prone to traffic jams; (d) whether or not the corrective action has been recommended in any evaluation; if so, whether has been implemented so far; (e) what corrective measures are being taken by the Government in this regard and why such measures are not proving beneficial and with each passing day the traffic problem is aggravating in Islamabad; and (f) the time by which measures will be taken to reduce this traffic problem?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Capital Development Authority (CDA), being custodian of the Parliament House, retrieved various structures, equipment, furniture, etc. during the renovation of the building during the last three years, alongwith quantity and specification of each item; (b) the item-wise details, auctioned later, if any alongwith details and price, at which each of item was auctioned; (c) whether anything has been kept with CDA yet; if so, the details thereof; and (d) the items that were placed/installed afresh during the process of renovation and the costs involved in each item?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Capital Development Authority (CDA) had deliberately halted to give possession of land in SubSector E-12/1, Islamabad to the contractor since August, 2022 in league with illegal Qabzeen of Sub-Sector E-12/1, Islamabad; (b) when will CDA give possession of land of Sub-Sector E-12/1, Islamabad, to the contractor; and (c) why CDA has failed to take possession of Sub-Sector E-12/1, Islamabad, despite the fact that CDA had paid compensation to all affectees?

Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to state: (a) the conventions of International Labour Organization (ILO) that were rectified by Pakistan; (b) the responsibilities which rest upon Federal Government and the provincial governments upon rectification of such conventions; and to find out whether the federal government and the provincial Governments are able to fulfill these responsibilities or not, in terms of an assessment was made in recent times; if so, the details thereof; (c) whether the Ministry issues any special instructions from time to time to responsible institutions in this regard; and (d) if any discrepancy is found, what corrective measures are being taken by the Government in this regard?

Will the Minister for Defence be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that a Nullah passing through Cantonment Board Mohallah Salmanabad, Westriage-III near IJP Road, Friend Hospital, Rawalpindi is without concrete, safety walls alongside the road; (b) during the rainy season, the residents of the area face big difficulties, some time rain water enters into their houses and even in recent rainy season dead bodies of children were found in the said nullah; (c) if the answers to part (a) and (b) above are in affirmative, whether funds have been issued for construction of concrete walls alongside nullah and road alongwith the time by which work will be started?

Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) does not pay its employees, especially the teachers and other employees working in their schools across the country, the minimum wage declared by the Federal Government; (b) if so, the reasons thereof; (c) whether such refusal to pay minimum wages is tantamount to violation of Government policies; and (d) if so, what corrective measures are being taken to pay minimum wages to OPF employees as announced by the Government through respective policies?

Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to refer to the Starred Question No.140 replied on 21-11-2022 and to state: (a) whether the registered persons were actually sent abroad for employment; (b) if they were all sent abroad, the details of the persons country-wise break-up who were sent abroad during the period April to November, 2022; (c) the number of persons sent directly by Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BE&OE) and the details of persons proceeded abroad through direct employment; (d) number of posts advertised by BE&OE during the last four years for Overseas employment with details of nature of posts and number of persons who applied in response to each of such advertisement; and (e) the amount collected from the said persons under various heads during the said period and where is such amount kept or deposited presently?

Will the Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the performance of the country’s national sport, hockey, which was once a specialty of Pakistan, is very poor in the international world and the Government has failed to steer the affairs of Pakistan Hockey in the right direction despite recent claims (b) whereas, the responsible bodies have failed to improve the relevant infrastructural facilities of hockey which are 30 necessary to hone the skills of the players and bring them up to international standards; if so, the reasons thereof; (c) what steps are being taken by the Government to pave the way for the national game to be mainstreamed in international world by setting up talent hunt programmes and providing the best facilities to the players; if so, details thereof; and (d) year-wise funds provided directly or indirectly to Pakistan Hockey Federation and details of the funds, which were managed by Pakistan Hockey Federation itself during the last five years?

Will the Minister for Narcotics Control be pleased to state: (a) the names of baned items to carry to Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, deemed as a crime; and (b) whether a number of Pakistanis are detained due to the above said items alongwith the steps being taken by the Government to prevent such items?

Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to state: (a) why the Board of Trustees of Employees Oldage Benefits Institution (EOBI) has not yet held the necessary meeting to increase the pension of the beneficiaries of EOBI and the said meeting is being postponed from one pretext to another, due to which the increase in the pension of EOBI's pensioners could not be granted to them despite the current inflationary trends and cost requirements; (b) if so, the delay in holding the meeting amounts to depriving the EOBI pensioners of their due increase in pension; and (c) what corrective measures are being taken by the Government to hold the meeting of Board of Trustees of EOBI to increase the pension at the earliest?

Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to state: (a) the total number of vehicles currently owned by each department under the administrative control of the Government and the monthly expenditure of each vehicle including the usage of each vehicle; (b) whether it is a fact that vehicles of aforesaid departments are allegedly being used by non-entitled officials or they are benefiting from the monetization policy; (c) whether there is any proposal under consideration by the Government to independently verify the illegal use of such vehicles; (d) if so, the details thereof; if not, the reasons thereof; and (e) whether department has submitted a report, which is required to be submitted to both the Finance Ministry and the Cabinet, on vehicle utilization under the Monetization Policy?

Will the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has taken notice of the fact that many Pakistanis have lost their jobs abroad in recent years and the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment (BE&OE) or any other relevant agency responsible for international employment for Pakistanis has failed to explore and tap such international job markets while our neighbouring and regional countries have been capturing such international job markets in recent years; if so, the details thereof; (b) total number of Pakistani workers in each foreign country at this time; (c) whether it has decreased or increased in recent years and the details for the last five years; (d) what practical steps have been taken by BE&OE or any responsible agency in recent years to tap such international job markets alongwith output of such steps; and (e) what corrective measures are being taken to tap such international job markets and actualize?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state: (a) whether the Ministry has taken notice of a fact that private security companies, authorized by the concerned department of the Ministry, force their security guards to perform more than 15 hours of duty and pay low wages than fixed by the Government; (b) steps being taken to resolve their matters ancillary to make beneficiaries of EOBI; if so, the details thereof; if not the reasons thereof; and (c) what corrective measures are being taken by the Government to rectify the above said matters as soon as possible?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to refer to the Question No.95 replied on 04-03-2021 and to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the baseless a youth was murdered in Karachi for illegally transporting him abroad and no legal action has been taken in this regard; if so, the reasons thereof; (b) why the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has not taken action with regard to the above said complaint of human trafficking; (c) whether it is not tantamount to the failure of FIA; and (d) the time by which the accused will be given rigorous punishment to implement the law and avoid such incidents in future?

Will the Minister for Defence be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) looks after all the street lights of the area under its jurisdiction; (b) whether it is also a fact that main Ghousia Chowk, Tahli Mohri, is under the jurisdiction of the CCB in which the low quality watts lights have been installed reducing visibility in the main chowk resulting into increasing crimes rate day by day; (c) if the answers to part (a) and (b) above are in the affirmative, explain the reason thereof; and (d) when will the CCB replace the low watt lights with high watts lights for better visibility in the said areas?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state the details of the of Capital Development Authority plots alongwith names of the purchasers, CNIC number, price auctioned during the last three years?

Will the Minister for Interior be pleased to state: (a) the details of the strength of officers/officials of Capital Development Authority inquiry offices F-6/1, 3, 4 and G-6, Islamabad; (b) number of complaints received during the last six months with house/flat number and street; 11 (c) number of complaints redressed; (d) total funds allocated during the current financial year; (e) total funds utilized on the houses repaired etc.; (f) details of the houses incurring repair/maintenance lost more than fifty thousand rupees during the current financial year; and (g) what steps are being taken by the Government for arrangements of funds for the pending cases?
