Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carrying vessels coming from Qatar do not reach the Karachi Port on time; (b) if so, the increase in percentage in the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cost due to the said delay; and (c) whether the consumers have to buy the LNG on expensive rates due to the said increase; if so, the steps being taken by the Government to solve the said issue?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) the quantity of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) imported from Qatar so far; (b) the daily expenditure of ship carrying LNG to Pakistan alongwith the number of days during which the ship carries the gas required to Pakistan; and (c) whether it is a fact that the price of LNG is increased due to delayed shipment through ships; if so, the steps being taken by the Government to deal with the said delay?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that natural gas load evaluation equipment installed on every consumer’s premises (industrial and commercial) are not ensuring Optimum Utilization of Natural Gas especially in case of low gas consumption due to low gas pressure; and (b) the steps taken by the Government to transfer every detail of natural gas including its consumption, flow, pressure temperature etc. from consumer meter station to SNGPL’s server?

Contractors has submitted invoice for payment amounting to Rs.1922550/- to the Regional Director, Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources, Regional Office, Lahore on 03-09-2014; (c) if the answers to parts (a) and (b) above are in the affirmative, the time by which said amount will be paid to the said ACC; if not, the reasons thereof?
