ISLAMABAD, May 4, 2012: The first sitting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s 25th session, which met for 59 minutes, took up three call Attention Notices as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cessation of Payment of Arrears on Advance Increments on Higher Educational Qualification Ordinance 2012 was presented in the House on Friday.
Two reports were presented in the House. First was a Select Committee report regarding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Bill 2010 and other was the 2nd report on Monitoring and the Implementation of NFC Award.
Four Points of Order consumed 38 minutes (66% of sitting time). However, none of the Points of Order attracted the Chair’s formal ruling.
The parliamentary leaders of the PMLN, PPPS and PPPP were attended the sitting, while the leader of the PML was absent.

- The Assembly met for 59 minutes.
- The sitting started at 1648 hours against the scheduled starting time of 1600 hours. The House proceedings started late by 48 minutes.
- The Speaker presided over the sitting. The Deputy Speaker was not present.
- The Chief Minister was present during the sitting while the Leader of the Opposition was absent.
- The parliamentary leaders of the PMLN, PPPS and PPPP attended the sitting, while the leader of the PML was absent.
- A total of 57 Members (46% of total Membership – 123) were present at the start, while 71 (58%) were present when the sitting was adjourned.
- One minority Member was present during the sitting.
- A total of 12 Members applied for leave to be absent.
