Will the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Government has constituted a working committee for introducing/promoting the Islamic Banking in the country; (b) whether it is also a fact that the aforesaid committee has failed to present its report within prescribed time; if so, reasons thereof; and (c) the steps being taken by the Government to introduce the Islamic Banking in the country in true spirit of Islam?
