Will the Minister for Industries and Production be pleased to state: (a) what are the factors that lead to increase in prices of food essentials in particulars and other commodities in general; (b) details of each of the above factor which have contributed to the rise in prices of the aforesaid commodities during the tenure of present Government; (c) what was the responsibility of the Government to deal with each factors and how the Government worked to address each of the above factor; (d) whether it is a fact that the Government has announced to reduce the prices of essential commodities; (e) if so, whether such a reduction has been made or not, the detail of base price at which the prices of essential commodities have been reduced of the intended to be reduce; and (f) whether this reduction has been actually applied to the prices of these commodities?
