Will the Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage be pleased to state: (a) whether the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority(PEMRA) is able to take action against the private TV channels including its Anchor Persons who are involved in deliberate defamation of the Government/Prime Minister by airing false accusations and then apologize for the same in the courts; and (b) whether the PEMRA can make those private channels accountable which were responsible for broadcasting false claims deliberately on human casualties during the raid on Parliament Building by PTI and PAT workers in August 2014; if so, how?
