Will the Minister for Energy (Power Division) be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the transmission system of electricity of district Hafizabad is mostly defective and the transformers are also overloaded and the concerned authorities have not taken any step despite drawing attention towards this issue; (b) if so, whether any sub-division-wise survey has been conducted in aforesaid district to identify overloaded transformers along with location of the transmission system; if so, the detail thereof; and (c) what the corrective steps are being taken by the Government in this regard?
