Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the millions of rupees of cable from Khanewal to Lahore Railways Section has been stolen recently; if so, the details thereof; (b) the steps taken by the Ministry in this regard; and (c) the year-wise total number of such incidents registered in the Ministry during the last four years alongwith the details and action taken against the responsibles thereof during the said period?

Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) the steps being taken by the Government to revive those Railway Workshops which were functioning satisfactory in the past in various areas of the country; and (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to send Pakistani Engineers and Technicians abroad for training; if so, when it will be implemented?

Will the Minister In-charge of the Cabinet Secretariat be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that a number of steel mills and bricks kilns are spreading air pollution in Islamabad; if so, the details thereof; and (b) the steps being taken to control the said pollution?

Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Pakistan Railway Advisory and Consultancy Services (PRACS) was principally established to provide consultancy and advisory services in the execution of operation of rail related projects in Pakistan and abroad; (b) whether it is also a fact that PRACS is duly registered with the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as a public company; (c) whether it is further a fact that the PRACS has engaged itself in commercial business for the last five years; (d) if the answer to part (c) above is the affirmative, whether PRACS has taken prior mandatory approval from SECP therefor; if so, the details thereof; and (e) the justification to award such business operations to PRACS instead of doing the said task by the Pakistan Railways itself?

Will the Minister In-charge of the Cabinet Secretariat be pleased to stab the steps being taken by the Government for providing free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in Islamabad?

Will the Minister In-charge of the Cabinet Secretariat be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Saidu Sharif Airport has been non functional for the last many years; if so, the reasons thereof; and (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to make the said airport operational; if so, when it will be implemented?

Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) the year-wise total number of locomotives purchased during the last five years; (b) the year-wise total amount of expenditures incurred thereon; and (c) whether it is a fact that the corruption on a large scale took place in the procurement of said locomotives; if so, the steps being taken by the Government against the persons involved in said corruption and to recover the looted Railways amount?
