Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that oil refineries have been producing low quality petroleum products in particular petrol as compared to international standard; if so, the reasons thereof; (b) whether Government has taken notice thereon; and (c) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to modernize/up grade the oil refineries and to equip them with latest technology as being used at international level; if so, the details including the funds to be earmarked therefor and targets set/to be set for expansion of refiner capacity thereof?
