Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has identified high energy consuming industries in the country, if so, the details thereof; (b) whether the Government has laid down any criteria/guidelines to restrict the consumption of energy by the said industries, if so, the details thereof; (c) whether the said criteria is being followed by those industries, if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons thereof; and (d) the steps taken being taken by the Government to ensure that the said criteria / guidelines are followed by those industries?

Will the Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter Faith Harmony be pleased to state: (a) the names of persons recommended by the Federal and State Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony, Members of National Assembly and Senate of Pakistan for Hajj 2016 under the quota of hardship cases; and (b) the names of officers / officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony who were sent as Mauvenian Hajj during the Hajj, 2016 indicating also the name of their recommending authority in each case?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) the per liter price of petrol and diesel purchased from foreign countries / companies during last four years; (b) the rate, including taxes, at which petrol and diesel are being supplied to the petrol pumps in the country at present; and (c) the percentage of profit on per liter petrol and diesel being earned by the Government, the Refineries and petrol pump owners at present?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) the estimated volume of Shale Gas reserves in the country indicating also the estimated cost of exploring and utilizing the same as a source of energy; and (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to carry out a detailed study / assessment in upper and lower Sindh, Balochistan and off shore basins for exploration of shale gas reserves?

Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state: (a) the details of heads under which taxes are being collected from electricity consumers through electricity bills indicating also the justification of the same in each case; (b) the name of authority which collects the said taxes; and (c) whether any audit of the amount collected through those taxes has been conducted during the last four years, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state the estimated quantity/reserves of precious stones in the country with location wise breakup indicating also the types of stones presently being excavated/mined from the same at present?

Will the Minister for Law and Justice be pleased to state the steps being taken by the Government to provide legal aid to those women prisoners who cannot afford to hire a lawyer by themselves?

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state whether it is a fact that a number officials of Islamabad Police have illegally occupied Government accommodations in Islamabad, if so, their names and designations and details of action taken/being taken against them?

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that 5% deduction is made from the salaries of Government employees under the head of House Rent charges; and (b) whether it is also a fact that the said amount is spent on the maintenance of residences allotted to higher officers of PWD and other departments instead of the residences allotted to low cadre employees, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state whether it is a fact that the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation has issued consent letters to retired employees of the Constitutional bodies for allotment of plots in Sector F-14 and 15, Islamabad under categories, I, III and IV but the same have not been issued to those employees of the said bodies falling in category II, if so, the reasons for this discrimination and time by which the same will be issued to them?

Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state the names and technical expertise of the persons working as Members of the Alternate Energy Development Board indicating also the pay,allowance and other fringe benefits admissible to them?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) the income and expenditure of OGDCL during the fiscal years 2014-2015 and 2015-16; (b) whether any grants were provided by the Government to the said Corporation during those fiscal years, if so, the details thereof; and (c) the steps taken / being taken by the Government to improve the financial condition of that Corporation?

Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state the details of ongoing power projects in the country indicating also the name, location, type, estimated production capacity, per unit cost of purchase of electricity, percentage of work completed and expected date of completion of the same in each case?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Government had decided to establish regional offices of OGRA in all provincial headquarters, if so, the details of the said offices established so far; and (b) whether it is also a fact that the offices of the said Authority have not been established in Quetta and Peshawar so far, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state: (a) the present status of work on the projects of Bhasha and Dasu dams indicating also the expected date of completion of the same; and (b) the expenditure incurred on the said projects, separately, so far as compared to their original estimated cost of completion?

Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the electricity produced by the Provincial Governments by installation of their own projects is purchased by WAPDA and added to the National Grid; and (b) whether it is also a fact that WAPDA has made or is going to make and agreement with the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the purchase of electricity to be produced by that Province from its projects, if so, the terms and conditions of the same indicating also the rate at which that electricity will be purchased by WAPDA?

Will the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources be pleased to refer to Senate starred question No. 108, replied on 25th November, 2016 and state the persons/companies which made the 3D model giving the proven coal reserves in Hungu/Orakzai and Cherat/Gulla Khel?

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state: (a) the amount collected by the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation from Government employees for purchasing land for the Bara Kahu Housing Scheme, indicating also the measurement of land purchased for the scheme so far; (b) the time by which allotment and possession of plots will be handed over to those Government employees who have deposited the required amount for the same; and (c) whether it is a fact that the said Foundation has issued letters of allotment of plots of Officers in Sector G-13 and 14, Islamabad but the same have not been issued to the applicants of Bara Kahu housing scheme so far, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Housing and Works be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that a number of officers in grades 16 to 18 living in Government Accommodations below their entitlement are not being allotted accommodations according to their entitlement, if so, the reasons thereof; and (b) whether it is also a fact that rent and other charges on account of Government Accommodation are being deducted from the salaries of the said officers as per their grades and not according to the accommodations they are living in, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has recently announced to curtail the load-shedding hours in the country up to 50%; and (b) whether it is also a fact that no reduction has been made in load shedding hours in Balochistan particularly in Districts Nouskhi and Kharan as per the said announcement of the Prime Minister, if so, the reasons, thereof?
