Will the Minister In charge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state: (a) the names, educational qualifications, date of appointments and place of domiciles of the persons working as Air Room Fighters in Civil Aviation Authority’s Headquarter, Karachi; (b) whether it is a fact that the salaries of a number of the said persons have been stopped, if so, their names and reasons for stoppage of salary in each case; and (c) whether any inquiry has been conducted in the cases of stoppage of the salaries of the said persons, if so, the details thereof in each case and if not, the reasons thereof indicating also the time by which they will be paid their salaries?

Will the Minister In charge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state: (a) the names, designations and place of domiciles of the persons whose services have been terminated or who have been sent on forced retirements by the Civil Aviation Authority during the last three years indicating also the reasons for termination of their services in each case; (b) the names, designations and place of domiciles of the said persons whose services have been terminated without issuance of show cause notices to them during the said period indicating also the reasons in each case; (c) the names and designations of those persons who have been re- employed by the said Authority; and (d) the number and category of employees of that Authority who are entitled for the grant of bonus indicating also the reasons for not granting the same to the remaining employees?

Will the Minister In charge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state; (a) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to purchase new aircraft by floating international tenders, if so, the number and type of air crafts to be purchased; and (b) the name of authority responsible to check the quality of new air-crafts at the time of their purchase?

Will the Minister In charge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and other domestic airlines don’t offer internet and mobile services during their flights, if so, the reasons thereof; and (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to make arrangements for provision of the said facilities by PIA, if so, when?

Will the Minister for Commerce be pleased to state: (a) whether any study has been conducted in recent years to assess the impacts of Pak-Afghan Transit Trade on the manufacturing sector in the country, if so, the details thereof; and (b) the steps being by the Government to make the said transit trade more beneficial for the economy of the country in general and for the manufacturing sector in particular?
