Will the Minister for Prisons be pleased to state:- (a) Is it a fact that in October, 2008 prisoners of Hyderabad Central Jail staged protest against the tortures on them in the jail, failing to take them to courts on hearing dates and refusal to give facilities admissible under the Jail manual and due to above protest clash Jail Superintendent with 4 other officials and some prisoners also was injured; (b) If answer to (a) above is affirmative, action taken by the Government to solve the problems of prisoners?
