Will the Minister Federal Education and Professional Training be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that under the rules and policy of HEC the degrees of M.Phil and M.S. are prerequisite for admission into Ph.D, if so, the details thereof; (b) whether it is also a fact that under the new policy of HEC, 3 out of 4 CGPA or first division is required for admission in Ph.D, if so, the details thereof; (c) whether it is further a fact that a number of Universities with particular reference AIOU, Islamabad declare students of M. Phil and M.S. with less than 3 CGPA or 2nd Division as passed whereas majority of the Universities avoid that practice and asks such student to reappear in the exam, if so, the details thereof; (d) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to formulate rules to stop Universities from declaring such students as passed and give one time exemption to the students who have already been declared passed with less than 3 CGPA or 2nd Division in M.Phil and M.S. to get admission in Ph.D through additional course work, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister for Postal Services be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that majority of post offices in the country lack basic facilities and are not computerized; (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to digitalize / computerize the post offices in the country, if so, the details and estimated cost thereof; and (c) the details of amount allocated and utilized for the renovation of post offices in the country during the last four years?

Will the Minister for Maritime Affairs be pleased to state whether it is a fact that no officer in BPS-17 and above belonging to Balochistan is working in the Marine and Fisheries department of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs at present, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Maritime Affairs be pleased to state: (a) the number of officers in BPS 17 to 21 working in the Port Qasim Authority at present with province wise breakup; (b) whether it is a fact that there is no officer of the said grades belonging to Balochistan in that Authority, if so, the reasons thereof; and (c) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to appoint officers in those grades in the said authority from the province of Balochistan?

Will the Minister for Communications be pleased to state: (a) the names of locations of toll plazas on the National Highways and Motorways in the country indicating also the names of contractors, dates of awarding and expiry of their present contracts, the amount of contracts and amount paid to the Government by the contractors of the same in each case; and (b) whether any of the said contractors has defaulted on their contracts, if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government in this regard?
