Will the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication be pleased to state: (a) the details of items, machinery, material etc. purchased from abroad by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, its attached departments, corporations, authorities and other entities under its administrative control since July, 2013 indicating also the names of countries and companies from which the same were purchased; (b) whether it is a fact that the said items were being manufactured or were available in Pakistan, if so, the reasons for purchasing the same from abroad; (c) whether it is also a fact that a number of officers visited those countries, in connection with the said purchases, on the expenses of companies / firms from which those items were purchased, if so, the names and designations of the 2 said officers indicating also the duration of their stay in those countries; and (d) the name of authority who granted permission for the said visits?

Will the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication be pleased to state whether it is a fact that the areas that previously fell under FATA and now merged with the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa still lack the facility of 3G and 4G internet, if so, the time by the said services will be provided to the inhabitant of those areas?

Will the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication be pleased to state: (a) the number of persons working in the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, its attached department, authorities, corporations, autonomous/semi-autonomous bodies and organizations etc. at present with province wise break up; 10 (b) the number of seats of the quota of Balochistan in the said Ministry, departments, authorities, corporations, autonomous/ semi- autonomous bodies and organizations etc. indicating also the number of persons belonging to Balochitan presently working against the said seats; and (c) the steps being taken by the Ministry to ensure compliance of provincial quota, particularly of the province of Balochistan in those entities?

Will the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that PTCL system of customer care unit is not functional and the complaints sent through that system are acknowledged by an auto generating reply instead of PTCL line staff, if so, the reasons thereof; and (b) whether the PTA has taken any cognizance of the said issue, if so, the details thereof indicating also the mechanism devised to resolve the online complaints of the PTCL customers?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state: (a) the losses suffered by PIA during the period from August, 2017 to August, 2018; and (b) the steps taken by the present Government to reduce the losses incurred by PIA?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state: (a) the volume and value of used cooking oil imported in the country during the last five years with type/category wise break up; (b) whether the Government authorizes import of the said oil, if so, the benchmarks upon which the same is allowed and the mechanism through which the Government ensures the implementation of those benchmarks; and (c) whether it is a fact that the used cooking oil being imported is low in quality and adversely affects the lives of people, if so, the steps being taken by the Government to rationalize the import and ensure quality of the same?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state the number of persons who received financial assistance and wheel chairs from Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal during the tenure of the present Government with district wise break up?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state: (a) the total volume of imports and exports of the country during the last six months; and (b) the trade deficit of the country as on 1st March, 2019?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state whether it is a fact that under the existing Government policy, the handicapped persons are allowed to import only new cars specifically designed for handicapped persons whereas the general public are allowed to import three years old cars, if so, whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to allow the handicapped persons to import three years old cars?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state: (a) the present position of balance of trade of the country; and (b) the steps being taken by the Government to improve the balance of trade of the country?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Cabinet Division be pleased to state whether there any proposal under consideration of the Government to introduce an integrated tourism policy encompassing all the provinces, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jamu Kashmir, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Establishment Division be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Efficiency and Disciplinary Rules of 1973 have no provision for recovery of embezzled money from corrupt officers convicted of embezzlement, if 35 so, the steps being taken by the Government to address the said lacuna in those rules; and (b) the details of procedure laid down for recovery of embezzled money from corrupt officers convicted of embezzlement under the law?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Establishment Division be pleased to state whether it is a fact that a large number of complaints regarding the mode of recruitment by the FPSC and leakages of CSS and other FPSE examination papers have been received by the Prime Minister’s citizen portal, if so, the details thereof indicating also the steps taken by the Government for the resolution of the said complaints so far?

Will the Minister for Climate Change be pleased to state: (a) the minimum ratio of land under forest cover out of the total land of a country required to save the climate and have better environment indicating also the present position of Pakistan in this regard; and 37 (b) whether the Government has passed any directions to the provinces to ensure a specific percentage of land under forest, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state: (a) the present share of Pakistan’s exports of halal food products in the International market as compared to the percentage share of India, Bangladesh and other regional countries; and (b) the steps being taken by the incumbent Government to increase the said share, particularly with respect to its exports to the OIC countries?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Aviation Division be pleased to refer to the Senate starred question No. 176, replied on 7th March, 2019 and state: (a) the amount of tax, charge, fee, fund or any other head which is collected through cash payment from passengers at the time of issuance of boarding card at New Islamabad International Airport indicating also the reasons for the same; 41 (b) whether collection of charges under the said heads is not included in the overall price of the air ticket, if so, the reasons thereof; (c) whether collection of charges under those heads through cashed payment is made at any other airport in the country, if so, the details thereof; and (d) the remedial steps being taken by the Government in this regard?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state: (a) the details of expenditures incurred on the salaries, allowances and other fringe benefits admissible to commercial counselors, commercial secretaries and trade ministers posted in Pakistan’s missions abroad during the last five years with year wise and head wise break up; and (b) whether any audit of the said expenditures has been conducted, if so, the details of irregularities, if any, surfaced in that audit?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Establishment Division be pleased to state whether it is fact that percentage of students who pass CSS exams has been decreasing over the course of years, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state the names of items traded between Pakistan and Afghanistan during the last five years, indicating also the value of the same?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state the details of financial embezzlement in Trade Development Authority of Pakistan registered in FIA, NAB and Anti-corruption department since 2013 indicating also the names and designations of persons punished and the amount recovered in the same so far?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state: 63 (a) the names of welfare projects being run by the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal at present with location wise breakup; and (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the present Government to initiate more welfare projects through Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state: (a) the number of Pakistan Sweet Homes under the administrative control of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal with location wise break up; (b) the names, designations, and place of domicile of the persons working in each of the said Homes; and (c) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the present Government to further improve the said Homes, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister Incharge of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state the amount allocated for the Pakistan Bait ul Mal during the last four fiscal years with year wise breakup and utilization of the same with Head wise breakup?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state whether it is a fact that the Government has decided to bring Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Zakat, Ushr, and Benazir Income Support programme under the umbrella of one Division/Department, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state: (a) the amount allocated for the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) since 2013-14 with year wise breakup; (b) whether any amount of BISP has been allocated for provinces during the said period, if so, the details thereof with year wise breakup; and (c) the number of beneficiaries of the amount allocated to BISP during that period with year wise province wise breakup?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state: (a) the details of cities where PIA operates its domestic flights; and (b) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the present Government to increase the number and improve the service of its domestic flights, if so, the details thereof?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Aviation Division be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that PIA flight operations often changes the aircraft at the last moment without informing the passengers of club class, if so, the reasons thereof; and (b) the steps being taken by the Government to avoid such incidents?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division be pleased to state whether there is any proposal under consideration of the Government to provide financial assistance from Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal to those prisoners who have completed their sentences but could not be released due to their inability to pay the amount of their penalties, if so, the details thereof?
