Will the Minister for National Food Security and Research be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Layyah Sugar Mills, Layyah prepares secret Cane Purchase Receipt (CPR) @ Rs.180/40 kg; (b) whether it is also a fact that the farmer, who braves the weather hardships and arranges inputs like fertilizers, pesticides etc. mostly through loans to meet the food requirements of the country, is not paid the same rate i.e Rs.180/40 kg; and (c) if the answers to part (a) and (b) above are in affirmative, what is the Government policy to ensure full payment to the sugarcane growers to avoid sugar crisis in the country?
