Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether the concerned authorities have taken notice of the fact that the benefit of adjustable General Sales Tex (GST), which is levied on the raw material or otherwise at the time of manufacturing of any product, is not passed to general public, though it is later on refunded to the individuals or companies concerned because the price of an item is determined based on the cost involved in its manufacturing; (b) if so, whether the institutions like FBR has formulated policies to levy taxes that are more regressive to the general public; (c) whether the FBR has assessed such regressive impact on the people at large in recent years; if so, the details thereof; (d) total value of adjusted GST collected during the last three financial years including the current financial year; and (e) how much adjustable GST has been refunded during the last three years alongwith break-up of each year and how much during said period is shown as pending?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Ministry had referred the question of Riba to the Advisory of Council of Islamic Ideology in March, 1963; (b) whether it is also a fact that the Council of Islamic Ideology had prepared its recommendations to the Ministry; (c) if the answers to part (a) and (b) above are in affirmative, the recommendations of the Council alongwith details of recommendation-wise implementation status?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Ex-Federal Minister for Finance claimed that certain elements, involved in speculative trade, are responsible for depreciation of rupee against US Dollar; (b) if so, the details of such elements; (c) if the claim of above said functionaries is deemed true then what steps has been taken to hold such elements accountable; (d) whether it is also a fact that speculative trade of such elements is tantamount to failure of responsible departments; and

Will the Minister for Economic Affairs be pleased to state: (a) details of the total Pakistan’s foreign debts at present; and (b) the details of amount in billion dollars which the Government has to pay under the head of foreign debts?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) how much a user actually receive balance in rupees on recharge of Rs.100/- after deduction of all applicable taxes, duties, service charges etc either being charged at the time of recharge or charged separately on calls or messages; (b) whether the Government has taken notice of the fact that imposition of withholding tax on mobile users is unjustified as 98% of them including students, daily wagers, beneficiaries of Ehsas Programme etc., whom income does not exceed the minimum threshold for filing tax return to claim such a tax adjustment or refund; if so, the details thereof; (c) what steps are being taken by the Government in this regard; (d) whether it is a fact that a person who obtains a certificate from the Income Tax Commissioner stating that his income does not exceed the minimum threshold for filing tax return during the tax year, then such person is exempted from such deduction; (e) if so, details for the people how currently such certification is given; and (f) what corrective measures are being taken by the Government in this regard?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that currently imported cell phones are taxed at a price set by the phone manufacturer, instead of the actual receipt of purchase; (b) if so, if is not, that tantamount to an injustice to Pakistanis living abroad; (c) whether there is a proposal to collect tax on actual receipt of purchase of every phone, including setting up a system to allow overseas Pakistanis to bring at least one mobile phone with them each year considering the record remittances from them in the country in recent years; (d) if so, the details thereof; and if not, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state the details of total monthly salary alongwith perks of Governor State Bank of Pakistan?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state the details of the audit paras against the ministries/divisions during the last three years and the action taken against the responsible functionaries/financial advisors for such negligence?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the total value of cripto currency purchased by Pakistanis during the last three years; and (b) the impact evolved on country economy from the purchase of cripto currency?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state the Government policy to provide relief to salaried and middle class people keeping in view the increased inflation at national and international level?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether there is any proposal under consideration of the present Government to Constitute a Committee or a Panel of Economists for the purpose of devising plan for elimination of Interest from Pakistan’s Economic System; (b) if yes, the Terms of Reference and Composition of such Committee or panel; if not, the reasons thereof; and (c) the time by which such Committee shall be constituted?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the number of employees including Auditor General of Pakistan which are working on deputation in the provinces of the country or outside the country during the last five years; and (b) the name of each officer who was appointed more then one time on deputation alongwith the interval between the first and last deputation of each officer?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the quantity of each item which has been confiscated at each airport after ban on import of luxury items by the Government; (b) where such confiscated items are kept; (c) has the receipt of confiscated items given to passengers; (d) whether it is a fact that such items as chocolates, perfumes, cloths of personal use in limited quantity are also confiscated; if so, it is unjust with occasional travellers; (e) if so, what corrective steps are being taken in this regard?

Will the Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives be pleased to state the total number of persons living above the poverty line in the country at present?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) total value of loan received from China during the last three years; and (b) the details of the terms and conditions thereof?

Will the Minister for Commerce be pleased to state the details of total amount/quantum of trade deficit of the country at present alongwith the steps being taken by the Government to minimize the trade deficit and to boost up the exports?

Will the Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives be pleased to state the number of CPEC Projects in progress in the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa alongwith the amount allocated thereof and the time by which the same will be completed?

Will the Minister In-charge of the Prime Minister’s Office be pleased to state: (a) the details of the applications filed under the Right to Information Act 2017 for obtaining different information since August, 2018; (b) how many of the above applications have been approved and details of the applications which have been rejected alongwith reasons for rejection including the details of pending applications; (c) the details of the aggrieved party of the rejected applications who have appealed to the Pakistan Information Commission; (d) what has the commission decided in this regard; (e) whether the Prime Minister’s Office has implemented the decision of the commission or not; if not, the reasons thereof; and (f) what corrective measures are being taken in this regard?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), being a regulator, has taken the notice of the fact that entities such as banks, insurance or cellular phone companies, automobiles or their authorized dealers or any other entity, who enter into a customer-based agreement with a common use in such meticulous writing as well as such language that a common man is unable to read and understand it; and (b) what corrective measures are being taken by the Government in this regard?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the amount of tax being received from tobacco industry; and (b) whether the Government intends to increase more excise duty on tobacco industry; if so, the percentage thereof?

Will the Minister for Commerce be pleased to state: (a) the details of the persons who have been sent on a visit to Dubai Expo by the Ministry or any other Federal Government agency at their own expense alongwith official status of each of the above person; (b) details of the total expenditure incurred upon visit of each person; (c) the justification of tour of each person; and (d) the authority who permitted them for travelling abroad?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the reasons behind depreciation of rupee against dollar; (b) whether such reasons have been assessed by the incumbent Government and proposed corrective measures; (c) if so, the derails thereof; and (d) what steps are being taken by the incumbent Government to appreciate the value of rupee against the dollar other-than taking loans?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the first women’s bank was set up purely for women’s empowerment and its purpose was to deploy all women in the management of the bank; (b) whether it is also a fact that in recent times men are being appointed to various positions in the bank which is not only a violation of the spirit of the establishment of the bank but also creating an environment of harassment of female employees whereas at the same time they are also hindering the promotion of female employees; (c) if so, the authorities concerned have taken notice of the fact as well as the number of men appointed against each post so far; and (d) what corrective measures are being taken in this regard?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the different benchmarks on which the economy is basically based and the economy of any country is rated; (b) whether it is good, bad or stable and what were these benchmarks in Pakistan as on May 2018; (c) the decision of the Government that came in power after the General Elections, 2018 to sign an agreement with the IMF right; (d) if so, the decision of the Government to reach an agreement with the IMF was exactly corrected what were the factors that compelled them to make this decision; and (e) what steps are being taken to make the people aware of the real state of the economy of the country and to prevent the wrong policies of the Government from being inflicted on the people?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state the details of the audit paras of the Ministry and it’s attached departments/ organizations, amount involved, the action taken against the responsible functionaries for their ineffectiveness and negligence, during the last three years?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Banks of Pakistan are processing the cases for loans under NAYA Pakistan Housing Scheme, very slowly and the peoples are waiting for six to ten months; (b) whether it is also a fact that cases in Meezan Bank Ltd, Tulsa Road Branch, Rawalpindi are pending for 6 to 10 months in particular the case of Muhammad Aamir, Sanitary Worker of Chaklala Cantonment Board, Rawalpindi; and (c) what steps are being taken by the Ministry of Finance for monitoring of the above mentioned said bank for speedy process of the cases in particular the case of Muhammad Aamir?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the remittances have been received on export of sugar, cement and marble; (b) if so, the details thereof during the last three years?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the total number of employees of the National Assembly Secretariat applied for the grant of House Building Advance (HBA) during the period from 01-01-2018 till date alongwith the names and designations thereof; and (b) the time by which HBA will be granted to those employees?

Will the Minister for Finance and Revenue be pleased to state: (a) the role of a common man to boost up the economy is not signification to bring the state of the economy of the country, at present; (b) why do we put unprecedented burden of poor policies over to a common man; (c) if not, it unjust with common man; and (d) what corrective measures are being taken to not put burden of poor policies of Government to poorest of the poor?
