Will the Minister for Maritime Affairs be pleased to state: (a) whether the Ministry has taken notice of the fact that several instances of negligence by Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) have occurred, such as the ship “Sabi” being idle for several months due to alleged negligence by officers following a minor collision in Cameroon; (b) the ship “Lahore” has remained in Dubai dry dock for the last few months without the installation of a required blast management system; (c) the ship “Shalimar” had only 9 rolls installed in its anchor system, but money was received for 12 rolls; (d) the ship “Chitral” which was sent to a Sri Lanka dry dock last year for repair, had issues arise from the surveyor’s failure to change the shafts, impacting the Government treasury; (e) if so, the financial impact of such occurrences; (f) whether such negligence has been investigated; if so, the details thereof; and (g) what corrective and punitive steps are being taken to address these issues and prevent occurring such future events?

Will the Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan had introduced an Orphan Drug Policy in 2017 in order to set up a separate price control regime, ensure availability of drugs needed for patients suffering from rare diseases, if so, the details of high priority diseases mentioned in that policy; (b) the present status of implemntation upon this policy indicating also the details of measures taken under the same so far? (b) Since no such policy was introduced, therefore, no question of implementation arises.
