Privilege Motion

In reply to Question No.21 dated 29th August, 2013 and Question No.21(as deferred) dated 1st November, 2013 Finance Division did not mention the name of MCB in the list of cases of Privatization, which were investigated by NAB/FIA but Ministry of Law and Justice in reply to Question No. 6 dated 15th April, 2014 admitted that the privatization MCB was investigated by NAB. This conduct of Finance Division is clearly my breach of privilege being a member of Senate and by submitting the incorrect and misleading reply also breaches the privilege of Senate as well

I move that my privilege as Member of this august House has been breached due to the following: I had a confirmed booking on PK-369 dated, 17th January, 2014 at 3 p.m. for the departure to Karachi. The fight was cancelled and I was informed very late. I was booked at the flight PK-30 at 7 p.m. I checked at the airport one hour before the flight. My flight was announced, I boarded the coach and acceded to the air craft. I was off loaded as my seat has been given to somebody else. I was forced to go back to the Rawal Lounge and put me on the next flight. I faced a lot of difficulties and embarrassment as I was supposed to reach Karachi on time to attend an important meeting
