4 This house expressed satisfaction that Assemblies in Pakistan are completing their constitutional term and that five years performance of the Punjab Government was much better as compared to other provinces due to honest, hardworking and sincere leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. It stated that the Punjab Assembly passed record 191 laws among its sister Assemblies in Pakistan. The resolution further added that the credit of remarkable performance of Punjab Assembly goes to leader of the House and his Cabinet as well as to Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Leader of the Opposition and all the Members of Assembly. It reposed confidence into the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif, vowing that the PML-N will continue its public service agenda in future. The resolution condemned and rejected those lobbies trying to make recent statements of beloved leader Mian Nawaz Sharif as controversial for being fearful of his popularity and appreciated him for being patriotic, creator of nuclear Pakistan, strengthening Pakistan economically and founder of CPEC project. The resolution asserted to hold free and fair elections in time in 2018 and demanded Election Commission of Pakistan and related institutions to play their complete role so that Pakistan should progress as democratic country Government Adopted
4 This house paid tributes to Col. Sohail Abid and Head Constable Sanaullah of Military Intelligence embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack in Balochistan on 16 May, 2018, during an operation in Quetta in which two terrorists were killed. Through this resolution he prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace and condoled with their families and early recovery of three, injured in this attack. The resolution continued that forces should achieve success against those involved in such terrorist attacks and also against those who facilitate such incidents and bring them to justice Government Adopted
