Whereas the members of Sindh Assembly believe that for intellectual and educational renaissance in Sindh, World classic on Philosophy, History, Natural and Social Scienecs, Art, Literature, Religious and other disciplines of Humanities should be translated from other languages into sindhi and classics of Sindhi Literature from Sindhi into other languages. Whereas members of Sindh Assembly understand that such colossal task could only be accomplished through establishing a center of excellence which should be named after such a personality, who has devoted his entire life in the pursuit of such cause. There can’t be a better name than Mr. Muhammad Ibrahim Joyo, who without any doubt is the intellectual icon of the modern Sindh. Sindh can’t present a better tribute to him than naming such a Bureau of Translation after his name. Whereas it is assumed that such prestigious Bureau of Translation should be established in Hyderabad/ Karachi, with independent Board of Governors and required grant alongwith complete infrastructure and required meritorious human resource. It is resolved that, the establishment of Mohammad Ibrahim Joyo Bureau of Translation should be implemented at the eraliset and that the Government of Sindh shall; Allocate land and adequate funds for the Construction of Building at Hyderabad or Karachi. Government Adopted
This House resolves that Sindh Government form a Provincial Finance Commission to distribute funds among between districts as per prescribed criteria adopted in the NFC Award. Government Adopted

World Polio Day being observed around the World, provide an opportunity to join the Polio eradication community to renew our promises of a Polio free world. It is moral and religious obligation on parents and community that all children up to 5 years of age receive Polio drops every time these are offered. We have to save our children from crippled future. I have this opportunity to pay tribute to our “Polio Heroes” the people who rendered their lives and embraced shahdat for the noble cause of Polio eradication. Government Adopted

This Assembly resolves that Provincial Government establish Breast-Cancer Diagnostic Centers in each district of the Province. Private Adopted
The provincial government is in a state of denial with regard to the loss of lives in Thar due to drought. Every day we see in different newspapers reports regarding the present situation in Thar. Even chairperson of the ruling party in the province has taken notice of the situation. “In such circumstances rather than clearing and politicising the issue, the government should form a committee that should include members from all political parties to probe this issue so that such incidents are not repeated in future.” Private Adopted
The Assembly resolves and recommends that the Government take appropriate action against the injustice against religious minorities that are increasing day by day. Girls of the Hindu community are being kidnapped, raped and their religion changed by force. This Assembly also recommends that a minor girl namely Anjli Meghwar, who was kidnapped from Dahrki be recovered and handed over to her parents and culprits arrested and punished. The Government should ensure that in future no such practice is repeated and all the members of this august House are requested to play their role within their Constituency to protect the rights of religious minorities.
