The attention of this House is drawn towards forced closure of Karachi Medical and Dental College by the Administrator KMC on the instigation of some disturbing elements of the college. The college was closed without even issuance of prior notification in the wake of peaceful protests by College Staff against non-payment of their salaries for several months. The end sufferers of this decision are students and patients who are going through uncertainty. Will the Minister for Local Government be pleased to give answer/ statement regarding what steps have been taken to address this matter?
