1 This Assembly Recalls that the 18th Constitutional Amendment was passed unanimously by Pakistan’s Parliament. Reaffirms its commitment to the 18th Constitutional Amendment and its particular the process of devolution. Regrets that efforts are afoot to rollback the Provincial Autonomy given under the 18th Constitutional Amendment. Observers that the creation of the National Curriculum Council after the abolition of the concurrent list is ultra vires of the Constitution. Further observes that a rollback in the health, education and other sectors is unconstitutional. Warns that any deviation or rollback of the 18th constitutional Amendment will have serious consequences for the Federation. Therefore, Sindh Assembly resolves and recommends to the Government to approach the Federal government to refrain from all delaying tactics in the way of implementation of 18th Constitutional Amendment in its true letter and spirit which, otherwise may prove detrimental to Provincial harmony. 2 This House resolves on the International Day of Human Rights that Political workers belonging to the different parties especially of MQM are being brutally murdered after kidnapping generally throughout Sindh especially in Karachi. This House condemns the brutal killing of Political Worker and request that Government of Sindh to take stern measures against the culprits. Private Adopted
2 This Assembly pays tribute to comrade Sobho Gianchandani as he is in his life found committed, devoted and lesson of continuous struggle. His love with Sindh and people of Sindh cannot be unnoticed and this Assembly recommends that a Chair be established in Karachi University and University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Government Adopted
2 A very tragic and harrowing event has occurred on the midnight of 9th and 10th December, 2014 when Mr. Bao Muhammad Anwar, the Vice President of Sialkot District, Punjab of MQM has been brutally murdered by the inimical forces. Such brutal attacks on our Party Leaders in the Districts of Punjab and other Provinces has sent a wave of shock and resentment amongst our workers. Hence it is demanded that the Federal Government must approach the Chief Minister of Punjab and he will be asked to take immediate and stern action against the culprits. Private Adopted
