2 Appreciative and cognizant of the great sacrifices the martyrs have rendered for peace, safety, security and stability of Pakistan and the unmatched role Armed Forces have played in safeguarding the motherland from all external and internal threats; Condemning strongly the shocking, brazen, heart wrenching, shameless and distressing acts of vandalism and arson that unfolded on 9th May 2023, in which Jinnah House Lahore, monuments of martyrs and national heroes, buildings and installations of Armed Forces and Radio Pakistan Peshawar building were attacked; The House strongly deplores these attacks and expresses its deepest sense of dismay and resentment and demands that the culprits, planners, facilitators and instigators be brought to justice under the law. The House extends its unwavering support and shows solidarity with our armed forces and other security agencies in the wake of the said vandalism; The House also expresses solidarity with the families of martyrs, pays tributes to them on the great sacrifices they made for the nation and resolves to hold their services for the motherland in high esteem in all times to come.
