  Orders of the Day

  Resolution

Sitting No. Resolution Type of Resolution Status
1 The House expresses its deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Senator Rana Maqbool Ahmed Private Adopted

1 On occasion of the Kashmir Black Day, the Senate of Pakistan moves the following resolution:- Commemorating the Black Day of Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir on 27th October, 1947, this House condemns the brutal state terrorism and killing of the innocent Kashmiris by the Indian forces as well as blatant violation of international laws in Indian Occupied Kashmir. This House strongly condemns the killing of thousands of innocent Kashmiris (who are martyred) in Indian Occupied Kashmir by Indian forces. This House urges the international community for the expedited formation of the Commission of Inquiry to investigate the gross human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir, as it was also recommended by the office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. This House rejects the conduct of fake elections in Indian Occupied Kashmir by the Indian government. These actions violate the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions which stipulate that the final disposition of the State of Jammu and Kashmir would be made in accordance with the will of the people of Kashmir through a free and impartial plebiscite to be conducted under the auspices of the United Nations. This House re-affirms its solidarity and commitment to the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir in their just struggle for their rights to self-determination and reiterates its continuing political, moral and diplomatic support. Private Adopted
4 The Senate of Pakistan at its emergency session on the Gaza genocide: STRONGLY CONDEMNS the Israeli crimes against humanity and State terrorism being perpetrated against the innocent children, women and men of Palestine living in the occupied strip of Gaza, the World's biggest open prison; DECLARES that since the Holocaust of the 2nd World War, no State has committed such mass killings, carnage and war crimes with such an unprecedented barbarity and brutality; EXPRESSES full solidarity and support with the oppressed Palestinians while denouncing the double standards and hypocrisy of those who are supporting Israel, as they are partners in crime since they also oppose an immediate ceasefire in beleaguered Gaza; REFLECTS the sentiments of the people of Pakistan and takes pride in Pakistan's consistent commitment to the just cause of Palestine. Since such a policy which was first enunciated by the Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, there can, therefore, be no wavering from Pakistan's principled policy based on supporting the inalienable right of self determination of the people of Palestine and their right to an independent State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its Capital; and DEMANDS an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, an end to the Israel blockade of Gaza, full access of Gaza to all International Humanitarian Organizations so that relief supplies, medicines, food and water can be supplied to the beleaguered citizens of Gaza and further demands an end to Israeli aggression and occupation and termination forthwith of all Israeli activities aimed at desecration of Holy places of Muslim Ummah. Joint Adopted
