| 4 | Whereas, Mari Petroleum and Gas company limited is laying 12” dia pipeline for supply fo Gas to Quetta from Zarghoon Gas Field through a very lengthy and unsafe area, which is not in the public interest. While the contract of this Gas Pipeline has also been awarded to a non-local contractor, which is an injustice to the local contractors. Moreover, the said company has neither checked out any proper strategy for gas royalty to the local people nor any jobs have been provided to the local people in the company, which has created great anxiety and depression among the people of the area. This House therefore, calls upon the Provincial Government to contact the administration of Mari Gas Company Limited that the said pipeline may be laid down through the short route via Dalwani Tor Shor Hanna to Quetta, while its contract which has been given to a non-local contractor may be resolved at once and be given to local contractors. Moreover, different areas of Mastung and its adjoining areas including Dasth Tera Meel, Dreengardh and Khad Khoocha area Kund Umrani were also ignored in gas supply.
