2 | This House expresses its deep sorrow and grief over the passing away of Mr. Nelson Rolihlaha Mandela, a man who stood for the rights of the deprived and oppressed not only in his own country but the world over. Pakistan had been at the forefront of the international efforts to dismantle the apartheid. The people of Pakistan are proud to walk the last mile of democracy in South Africa. Muslim Commercial Bank, Habib Bank, United Limited Bank were sold off, now Steel Mills is said to be sold out. PPPP gave 12% shares of PIA to laborers, no 26% of its shares are said to be sold. Sell out FBR, even Privatize Pakistan. 89 institutions are privatized. PMLN government always takes steps against laborers and Agriculture. Praise of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who initiated steel mills, and gave rights to the poor and drafted 1973 constitution. A week ago Mulla Abdul Qadir was hanged in Bangladesh. On 16 December the House held a debate on the fall of Dhaka and the hanging. It was a sad day for Pakistan. Bangladesh observed a three-day mourning on Nelson Mandela's death. The resolution we passed was our right. The Bangladesh Prime Minister should enhance the terms between both countries. Why was Pakistan flag burned during an election campaign in Bangladesh.? We reject the Bangladesh suggestion of taking back the resolution.
