The department had established 110 welfare centres. five hundred and fifty male and female employees were appointed on merit in the centres. The appointed employees are demanding from government to regularize them, they staged protest infornt of assembly against the decision of government to sack them on 30 June 2014 instead of regularization. The Mover complained that government wants to close all thwe welfare centre, if the centre will be closed it badly affect the health of the poor people of province and they will be deprived from the health facilities.
