This Anti-Terrorism force will be fully equipped to enable it react rapidly to any terror incident. Similarly? an internal security department will be established to enhance cooperation among civil Armed Forces.Giving strong reaction to the recent acts of terrorism? he said that befitting response will be given to any act of terror from the militants and terrorists.he made it clear that stalled dialogue process will be resumed only after the end of terror activities from the other side.

The Minister said the United States tried to solace Pakistan by declaring that the drone strike against Hakeemullah was not directed at derailing the peace process but he told US leaders that he was not convinced by their assurance and statements. He said attempts were made to establish contacts again with new leader of TTP Mullah Fazlullah, who is in Kunar in Afghanistan, but he was non-responsive. He said at this the other option of establishing contacts with other groups within the TTP and outside was used and significant success was achieved but then the Bannu attack came. He said while claiming responsibility for Bannu attack TTP spokesman used words which implied that it wanted to sabotage talks with other groups and factions. He said these were groups which wanted to talk irrespective of TTP?s stand on the issue. He said it is strange that TTP was not responding positively when contacts were being made but now when the nation is forging consensus on the need to tackle the problem either way, now the TTP is favouring talks. He said it is the defining moment in the history of the country and we will have to forge consensus for whatever strategy has to be adopted.
