Will the Minister for Energy (Power Division) be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that electric wires containing many joints, have been temporarily laid opendly and unsafely on ground to provide temporary electricity connection to the residents from the distribution defective box of the C-Type Blocks, Sector G-9/2, Islamabad (especially Block No.I-C) and the same are passing in front of the aforesaid block; (b) the aforesaid temporary electric wires have not yet been covered deeply in ground to save the residents from severe electric shock as their joints suddenly starts sparking continuously especially in the rainy days; (c) the number of complaints have been registered in relevant Inquiry and the problems have not yet been solved as the residents old age persons including children and ladies facing acute difficulty while passing through the aforesaid faulty electric wire in front of their homes; (d) if so, the reasons thereof; and (e) the time by which the temporarily connected electric unsafe wires and distribution faulty box will be replaced and wires would be covered deeply inside the ground''

Will the Minister for Maritime Affairs be pleased to state: (a) whether the Ministry has taken notice of the fact that several instances of negligence by Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) have occurred, such as the ship “Sabi” being idle for several months due to alleged negligence by officers following a minor collision in Cameroon; (b) the ship “Lahore” has remained in Dubai dry dock for the last few months without the installation of a required blast management system; (c) the ship “Shalimar” had only 9 rolls installed in its anchor system, but money was received for 12 rolls; (d) the ship “Chitral” which was sent to a Sri Lanka dry dock last year for repair, had issues arise from the surveyor’s failure to change the shafts, impacting the Government treasury; (e) if so, the financial impact of such occurrences; (f) whether such negligence has been investigated; if so, the details thereof; and (g) what corrective and punitive steps are being taken to address these issues and prevent occurring such future events?
