Will the Minister for Water and Power be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the Government has levied tariff rationalization surcharge on electricity consumers in the country, if so, the justification thereof; (b) whether it is also a fact that the said surcharge has also been levied on consumers of efficient DISCOs, if so, its reasons; and (c) the present status of Rs. 200 billion collected under the said head?

Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that Pakistan Railways suffered a loss of more than Rs. 28 billion during the fiscal year 2015-16 marking an increase of 12.65% over the last fiscal year of 2014-15, if so, the reasons thereof; (b) whether it is also a fact that the expenditure of Pakistan Railways increased from year Rs. 57.03 billion in 2014-15 to Rs. 6423 billion during the fiscal year 2015-16, if so, the reasons thereof; and (c) whether it is further a fact that operating expenditures of the said Railways decreased from Rs. 18.77 billion in 2014-15 to Rs. 18.28 billion during the fiscal year 2015-16 despite the increase in its overall expenditures, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the administration of Civil Hospital Quetta requested for stationing / deputing paramilitary soldiers for the security of that hospital last year, if so, the steps taken thereon; and (b) whether it is also a fact that the said hospital is a high risk target, if so, the reasons for not stationing / deputing the said soldiers there?

Will the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization be pleased to state whether it is a fact that a large number of cases of tax refund have been pending in FBR, if so, the steps being taken by the Government to address the issue?

Will the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Privatization be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that no project has been financed through by Pakistan Development Fund so far, if so, the reasons thereof; (b) the details of procedural formalities which have not been completed so far to make the said Fund fully functional; and (c) whether it is also a fact that the said Fund and the Infrastructure Project Development Facility (IPDF) have similar purpose, if so, the key distinction between the two and reasons for putting money in that Fund instead of IPDF?

Will the Minister for National Food Security and Research be pleased to state: (a) whether it is fact that 40% population is malnourished despite availability of surplus food in the country; and (b) whether it is also a fact that according to the report of ‘Global Hunger Index’ Pakistan is on the level of “Serious” with a score of 33.9 in malnourished, if so, the steps taken / being taken by the Government in this regard?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Cabinet Division be pleased to state: (a) the name of authority or rule under which the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) is empowered to grant tax exemptions; (b) whether it is a fact that the said Committee granted tax exemptions and benefits to two Chinese Companies during the month of July, 2016, if so, the details thereof; (c) the details of decisions made by the said Committee on the date on which the Supreme Court of Pakistan barred the Government from making decisions on fiscal issue without the approval of the Cabinet; and (d) whether it is also a fact that a case for reduction in relending rates submitted by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission is pending for a decision with the said Committee, if so, the time by which the same will be finalized?

Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) the number of manned and unmanned railway crossings in the country; (b) the number of accidents occurred on the said crossings during the last three years indicating also the number of persons died and injured in the same; (c) whether it is a fact that majority of the said accidents took place on unmanned railway crossings in Punjab, if so, the reasons thereof; and (d) the steps taken by present Government to build manned railway crossings in the country?

Will the Ministerfor Communications bepleased to state: a) whether it is afact that the Green Line Metro Bus Project from Sarjani to Tower, Karachi has been delayed, if so, the reasons thereof and the expected date of its completion; and b) whether it is afact that the route and estimated cost of the said project has been increased, if so, the reasons thereof?

Will the Minister Incharge of the Capital Administration and Development Division be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the implementation of Smart School Project has been delayed, if so, the reasons thereof; (b) whether it is a fact that 32 public sector educational institution have been selected for transformation into Smart Schools, if so, the number of the same transformed so far; and (c) the number of principals and teachers trained according to the concepts of smart schools so far?

Will the Minister for Human Rights be pleased to state: (a) the details of International Conventions, Treaties, Rules and Guidelines related to child rights with particular reference to Girls child rights ratified by Pakistan so far; and (b) the details of the said Conventions, Treaties, Rules and Guidelines on which legislation has been made in the country so far indicating also their respective jurisdiction after the 18th Constitutional Amendment?

Will the Minister for Commerce and Textile be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that the trade deficit of the country has increased to dollar 12.1 billion during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, 2017-18, if so, the reasons thereof; (b) the percentage increase or decrease registered in the said deficit since 2012 with year wise breakup; and (c) the names of items, if any, added to the existing imports of the country during the said period?

Will the Minister for Railways be pleased to state: (a) whether it is a fact that 28 luxury coaches of Pakistan Railways have been allocated for travel of VIPs in the country, if so, the justification thereof; (b) whether the officers of Pakistan Railways are also allowed to travel by the said coaches, if so, the grades of officers who are allowed that facility; and (c) the fare payable by the VIPs and officers of Pakistan Railways for travel in those coaches?

Will the Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination be pleased to state: (a) whether the drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has devised any mechanism for identifying medicines which are either counterfeit or have been adulterated or tempered with; and (b) whether it is a fact that World Health Organization (WHO) has suggested strategies for identifying authenticity of drugs, if so, the details thereof?
